COVER for Pict Nae Scot
Your story really inspired me and I loved making this. Hopefully you'll like it. :o)

(The background is supposed to be pitch black. I'm a little concerned that some monitors will make this cover look differently because the background looks lighter. So, if that's the case-- that's not the way this is supposed to be seen-- normally the background is completely black, covering the figure in shadows.)
COVER for Equinox
I ended up with a portrait of the guys, surrounded by red flowers, pouring out of the picture-- bleeding into the blue colours of a beautiful bright sunny afternoon.
I simply adored making this cover, so I hope you'll like it. :o)

COVER for Tourist
I noticed that the cover you yourself created was basically a mix of the different elements of the story. So, I decided to make a collage that brings all the significant elements of the story together in one cover. It's a bit different from anything I've ever made before, but I really really like the way it turned out. I hope you don't mind that I used a picture of Joe and David, because I couldn't find any John or Rodney caps that had them wearing casual clothing one would wear on vacation on Earth. In my mind it's John and Rodney, asking another tourist to take their picture, John smiling at the camera and Rodney scowling at the guy/girl taking their picture because he/she had had the gall to smile seductively at John. :o)
The roadsign is just a roadsign I found in a picture. I'm not from the US, so I have no idea if it's representative or not-- or even if it contains the right information-- all I know is that it said California and I thought that was close enough. I really enjoyed making this and I hope you'll like it. :o)

RESOURCES:
» The textures used in the art are all mine.
» The images/pictures I used are all royalty free images
» The pictures of Joe and David are (sadly) not made by me. I found them somewhere on LJ, but I can't remember where. If anyone can refresh my memory, I'd be grateful. Thanks.
Enjoy!

The last cover was great fun to make. That picture just screamed 'haughty Rodney and lazy John' to me. *g*

Dude you just totally made my week :D, its awesome! the surfboard and the helicopter and the Ferris wheel and the hat and the map!! *flails*
ok, so now im over the OMGLOVEIT! some coherentness :D
I'm so glad you liked the story :D There are the boys-- a little sad to be back on Earth, but still happy to be together-- cruising the country, trying to find their balance.</i> its, yeah thats what I was going for :D
I love that you incorperated everything in to it, the signs and the road, and everything they did, Joe and David happen to look exactly like John and Rodney, so its cool you used their picture ;D its what i imagin they would look like on Earth, on holiday too, and it fit perfectly :D I love the surf board (is that ancient on it? what does it say?) and the contrast, the ocean and the desert (and hee, Area 51: non exixtent area)
I love it, its just perfect :D Thank you so much!
*runs off to add to story*

The Ancient on the surfboard says: 'Puddlejumper'. John would totally put that on his surfboard-- he's a geek like that. :o)
As for Area 51-- man, you have no idea what strange things I found when I did a simple Google-search. It's enough to scare the crap out of someone-- if it were all true that is. :o)
I'm so happy that you like it. And you're very welcome-- it was my pleasure. :o)

I also love hearing about what you were thinking when you made it. And the longer I stare at this, it's almost like that moment between John and Rodney got picked up and moved into an open-air museum where we can watch them stumble along, holding each other up as they move through the field. Mmmm.
Thank you so much for making this!

In a sense, that's exactly what I was going for. The sense of peace and the love between the guys. So, I'm glad that worked out so well.
You're welcome!!! :o)

I spent quite some time looking for the exact 'right' paint-effect for the first cover. For the second cover I spent a lot of time on everything, because the ideas just kept coming and coming and the image kept on growing. :o)
